Fraudulent CC charge!

This just showed up as a pending charge on my bank statement

01/13/10 APL*MOBILEME WWW.ME.COM 01 $106.92

This was a CC charge to my bank card. I contacted Wells Fargo to report this and they are sending it up to the people who investigate this. Hopefully I get my money back, though I’m not optimistic. For the time being, I have had that card cancelled and am getting a new one.

    MobileMe to the rescue?

    Raianna C.: I am sorry to learn of your concern about what may be unauthorized charges to your credit card for a MobileMe purchase. The MobileMe Support team would be happy to assist, but unfortunately, only your bank or credit card company can remove unauthorized transactions from your credit card. I urge you to contact your bank or credit card company as soon as possible.

    I pretty much knew this would be the result. Hopefully WF comes through.

    I completely forgot to update this. WF did indeed charge me back the $106.92. It’s provisional, but this was five weeks ago.

    To view the credit amount online, allow one business day for processing, and then sign on and go to Account Activity.

    Once the investigation is complete, we will notify you of the final outcome.
