So far the tournament has been pretty exciting, unfortunately Texas lost in the elite 8 to LSU. Seeing George Mason make the final four is pretty crazy, especially seeing as only four people in all of ESPN’s Tourney Challenge picked them to win. Good luck to them.
So yesterday, for several hours, this site and others on the server were mostly unreachable. At first I thought something wrong like the kernel panicked or I was being DOS’d. Well, funny thing, that was not the case and in fact, my friend who also hosts his site on this server, put up a somewhat large file for a few of his friends to download. Apparently so much outgoing traffic was happening from this one file, it basically tore up our entire server (no permanent damage). Anyways, check this bandwidth graph out:
